Supercars, Scale Models & Live Music: A Showstopping Saturday at Joyland Diner

This weekend, Joyland Diner was the ultimate destination for motors, music, and mouth-watering meals as we welcomed not one, but two special guest groups — the Norfolk Performance Car Club and the local Model Truck Club — with live entertainment from the brilliant Bill Downs, singing all afternoon!

Our car park was transformed into a sea of supercars, with incredible Lamborghinis, McLarens, high-end BMWs, Porsches and more gleaming in the sunshine. Crowds gathered to admire the engineering and style of some of the world’s most iconic performance vehicles — and to snap a few photos, of course!

Just across the way, the Model Truck Club was drawing in visitors with their impressively detailed displays. From intricate remote-controlled lorries to beautifully built scale replicas, it was a hit with kids and adults alike. The craftsmanship on show was just as awe-inspiring as the full-size cars — only on a slightly smaller scale!

And as if that wasn’t enough, the atmosphere was topped off perfectly with live music from Bill Downs, who kept the energy high and the good vibes flowing all afternoon with his fantastic set of acoustic favourites. Diners relaxed with burgers, shakes and seaside classics while enjoying the soundtrack of a truly special Sunday.
