Joyland was originally opened in 1949 by the Cole
family as a childrens theme park with rides like the 'Snails' and 'Tubs' which by popular demand are still
in existence today along side new and exciting rides.

| Family Themed American Diner |

Joyland's American themed family diner was opened
in 2003 and situated adjacent to the theme park overlooking the Anchor gardens and backing on to
the beach esplanade. The diner has indoor seating for approximately 50 people and is fully
licensed, there is also a takeaway area located on the promenade side which is open during the summer months.
